    6000+ miles on my freedom X

    Love this thing. Few issues over the 6000 miles but a replacement battery from wing was the only thing that dented my ride time (fortunately only took about 10 days to get one sent over from California to NYC where I’m based.

    I love my Wing E-bike

    I'm 72 years old, 5'7" and weigh 150 lbs. I bought the Wing Freedom X in large part because of how beautiful it looks. I use it to commute to Brooklyn from Manhattan and back 5 days a week in almost all weather(not heavy snow or ice). I've had it for six months now and I actually look forward to my commute because of the ride. I did a lot of online research and besides the esthetics, it is reasonably priced and favorably reviewed. I would have given 5 stars, but my front brake caliper broke after 4 months. It took a while to get a response from the company and I needed my commute machine, so I went to a local Trek dealer who replaced both front and back calipers with a less pretty but more functional brand than was the original equipment. When the company finally responded, they were snarky about my impatience for not waiting for them to back up their warranty. There is no brick and mortar store in NYC, so this was what I suppose is an inevitable scenario(the waiting, not the snark). Overall, I am extremely happy with my Wing Freedom X. I use the 2 or 3 setting on the assist, recharge my battery after every 30 miles(I don't want to get caught with riding over the Williamsburg bridge with no power), find the derailleur smooth, the horn and theft alarm helpful and the brake light reassuring. The digital readout built into the stem and lights built into the frame are nice touches. For urban commutes, I strongly recommend adding a mirror. Dollar for dollar, I don't think you can…

    LOVE this bike

    I wanted something I could commute to work with, and that's exactly what I got. With fenders you can ride on wet surfaces without being concerned you'll arrive at work with a muddy back. And this thing melts the hills in my town, which is nice particularly on hot mornings when you don't want to arrive with sweat dripping off your nose. I also like the torque sensor: It's still a bicycle in the truest sense of the word. (I think cadence sensor bikes ride more like mo-peds, which is not what I was looking for.) Finally, it just looks good. I like how the battery is integrated into the down tube. It's nice and sleek with clean lines, kind of like a VanMoof - but without the price tag. I also found customer support to be very helpful. Highly recommended!

    Freedom X Rocks

    I love the bike. I like that it is relatively light weight and it looks more like a regular bike than an e-bike . In 18 months I have put on 3700 miles, and I live in Wisconsin! This bike got my butt out of the recliner and onto the trail. Now I have a bunch of friends with Wing Bikes and we go on weekly rides.
